Kari Lubow | Lead Teacher, Ladybugs
Kari has a degree in Child, Adult and Family Services from Iowa State University and has been with LilyPad since November 2009. Kari’s mother ran an in-home child care as Kari was growing up and she has spent a good portion of her life caring for children. Kari’s family is very important to her and she loves spending time with her parents, siblings, nieces and nephews. She is very involved in her church as well. Kari loves to read, listen to music, take walks and cheer on the Green Bay Packers.

Maivo Lee | Lead Teacher, Bumblebees
Maivo began with LilyPad in the fall of 2009. Prior to becoming the Bumblebees’ Lead Teacher, Maivo worked for several years as a Lead Teacher at Eagle’s Loft in Ames, as well as an assistant teacher at Formative Years in Clive. Maivo’s favorite activities include reading novels, watching movies, and spending time at home.

Megan Shields-Brommel | Lead Teacher, Caterpillar Room
I'm originally from Southern, Iowa but now live in Ames with my husband, Nate, our daughter, Izabelle, son Izaac & American Bulldog, Rylee.

I love working with children of different ages and seeing them light up at new discoveries. I love how they react and change everyday, no two days are the same!

In my spare time I love sewing and working on new projects and patterns. I enjoy reading and spending time with family and friends.
