CPR/First-Aid offered for Families
Lilypad staff members are always trained on the most current CPR and 1st Aid requirments. Now we are offering this to our families. If you are interested in receiving CPR training and/or 1st Aid training please contact Sara or Jocelyn. We will be setting up a class time after the first of the year. This is a great chance for parents to be prepared for all the daily hazards we encounter raising a family.

Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
Lilypad has joined a cohort through ISU extension to participate in the PBIS training. Through this program our classrooms will work on developing behavior management guidelines that are the same through out all our classrooms. This will help children transitioning into new classrooms. Also, Ballard School District uses PBIS through the elementary schools. All of our children entering Kindergarten will already be exposed to this program and will have a better transition into the school system. Thank you to all our teachers that have signed up for this 9 month commitment. I am proud of the commit Lilypad has made to the benefit of all our children!!
